As for the game mode to play it's largely down to preference but as a recommendation Supply Raid is more consistent. The games are a bit quicker in general and It's easier to work towards certain mission goals etc. Sometimes in Survivors you can have a game be over before you know it and not really see many enemies if your team does all the work.
