So safe, they’re awesome to fly on!! Super comfy. I actually prefer a 777 over a 787 because of my previous complaints about the digital darkening of the windows on 787's (as I noted elsewhere, they claim to have improved this, but I'll believe it when I see it). I've flown a 777 a bunch of times, and they are safe, comfortable aircrafts.

Additionally, the Boeing 777 may have had to burn off fuel in order to land within a safe weight. As for the passengers who were expecting to fly to São Paulo, KLM dispatched a replacement Boeing 777-300ER registered PH-BVS. The jet departed with a delay of about six hours.

I am not sure about some of the attributes, that Boeing’s Marketing Department attach to it, regarding lack of jet lag, etc, but still a nice plane. My flights have been IAH-LHR, ORD-LHR, LAX-MEL, and several times each. Personally, I like the UA 777’s a bit better, but mainly due to layout in Polaris Class.

On this particular 777 model, economy seats measure just 17 inches wide, compared to the up to 17.3 inches on the 787 and the up to 18 inches on United's 767s and almost all 777-200s. That extra inch makes a huge difference, especially if you're unfortunate enough to have especially broad shoulders. Economy Cabin
